How do I take advantage of FREE Super Saver Shipping?

1. Place at least $25 of eligible Amazon.com products in your Shopping Cart. (Eligible items will say “eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping …” next to their price.)

2. Proceed to checkout.

3. Ship your items to a single U.S. address.

4. Select “Group my items into as few shipments as possible” as your shipping preference.

5. Select Super Saver Shipping as your shipping speed. After your order ships, it will be delivered within 5-9 business days.

6. Place your order, and enjoy the free shipping!

The Fine Print

• If you qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping but your order also contains one or more ineligible items, you’ll be charged shipping fees for those ineligible items.

• Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference might affect your order’s eligibility for Super Saver Shipping.

• Applies only to orders with at least $25 of qualifying merchandise, excluding gift-wrap charges and taxes, at the Amazon.com and CDNOW.com Web sites.

• Excludes items that do not include a statement that they are eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping next to their price. Also excludes certain oversize items, e-documents, software downloads, music downloads, and gift cards.

• Eligible items fulfilled by Amazon.com may not be eligible if fulfilled by a third-party seller. Look for the “FREE Super Saver Shipping” next to the price in all “New, used, and collectible” listings to see if the item is eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping from any particular seller.

• The price of shipping a magazine subscription is already included in the subscription price. However, the price of a magazine subscription can be applied toward the $25 order total needed to qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping.

• Applies to U.S. delivery addresses in the 50 states only, including Alaska and Hawaii. Geographic shipping restrictions may apply to particular products; for example, some Tools & Hardware items may not be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii using FREE Super Saver Shipping.

• Applies to APO/FPO addresses when using a United States ZIP Code only.

• Weekend delivery cannot be requested. We use a variety of carriers to deliver orders, and some do not deliver on weekends.

• Some special product, order, or handling fees may still apply.

• May be used in conjunction with a promotional code. The qualifying amount is the total amount of the products purchased before the promotional codeis applied.

• You will not receive FREE Super Saver Shipping on your order if any eligible items are canceled, bringing the total below $25.

Shipping Preferences

Sometimes you need to receive certain items in your order sooner than others. That’s why, every time you place an order via our order form, you can choose from one of these shipping preferences:

• Group my items into as few shipments as possible
• I want my items faster. Ship them as soon as they become available (at additional cost)

Group my items into as few shipments as possible

Trying to keep shipping costs down? Choose this first option. We’ll consolidate your items into the fewest shipments possible. (We’ll always show you the minimum number of shipments needed to complete your order.) Depending on the availability of the items you’re purchasing, you might have to wait a bit longer for your order to ship, but you’ll save money on shipping.

The number of shipments we make for your order is dependent upon:

• Our fulfillment network: To serve our millions of customers more efficiently, Amazon.com has several different fulfillment centers located across the United States. These centers often house different types of products. If you order dissimilar items–say, a book, a computer, and a cordless drill–they may ship separately, depending on where in our fulfillment network they happen to be located.
• Items requiring special shipping and handling: Items that require special shipping and handling (for example, items that are large and/or heavy) are marked on their product detail pages as such and will ship separately from other items in your order. Note that in some cases, these items require an adult signature upon delivery.

In some cases, you might receive more shipments than we indicated you would when you placed your order. Regardless, we will never charge you more for shipping than the amount that was originally quoted to you at the time you place your order.

Be aware that items listed as having Not Yet Released or Back Ordered availability can potentially delay shipments that are designated to be grouped into as few shipments as possible.

Ordering items with different availabilities? Don’t let the slower items hold up the rest of your order! Choose this option to have your items ship as they become available, beginning with those already in stock. If some of the items in your order are eligible for Guaranteed Accelerated Delivery, you should choose this option if you want to receive those items quickly–otherwise, the delivery of the items may be delayed.

You’ll be charged a per-shipment fee for each shipment, but you’ll get some or all of your items earlier than you would have if you’d chosen the “Group my items into as few shipments as possible” option. Of course, we’ll still attempt to save you money by consolidating items where it makes sense to do so.
